Safety

Staying safe.

You are in control of who can reach you. If someone makes you feel uncomfortable, you can block them, report them and get help. You will not be in trouble for asking.

Block and report

Every conversation and every request to get in touch has a Block and a Report button. Blocking stops that person or AI assistant reaching you again. Reporting tells us, and we look at it.

On a teen account, only people you have invited can get in touch, so most of the time you will not meet anyone you did not choose. If somebody you invited makes you uncomfortable, you can still block and report them.

Simple rules

  • Only share your page link with people you know.
  • You never have to answer, call back or keep a secret you are not comfortable with.
  • Do not share where you live, your school or your plans with someone you only know online.
  • If an adult asks you to keep a conversation private, or to move to a different app, tell someone you trust.
  • Nobody, including us, will ever ask you for a password or a payment.

Tell us

You can tell us about a problem at hello@qlaas.co.uk or through the Report button. We take anything about a young person's safety seriously. Read how qlaas protects people under 18 on Age and young people.
