Step 02: Shadow pilot

The gateway mirrors live commands and issues a Receipt for each one. Nothing is blocked; you see exactly what the Gate would have decided.

What happens to my data in a self-serve Replay audit?
Your CSV is read and processed in your browser; the raw log is never uploaded. When the audit finishes you can save the aggregate summary (counts of what would have been allowed, stepped up or denied, by machine and action) to share it with your team or with us. Saving is your choice, and saved summaries expire after 180 days. If you ask us to run it, we agree how the export is handled before you send it. Replay data handling
What is the acceptance test?
A short, written test agreed with you before you sign. For example: every mirrored command on the named machines produces a Receipt; the Gate's would-have decisions match your Mandates on a sample you choose; shadowing adds no delay to dispatch. The measures and the date go into the order form.
What if the pilot fails the acceptance test?
The 50% paid on signing is refunded in full and the second 50% is never invoiced. The refund covers the pilot fee and its add-ons.
Do prices include VAT?
No. Every price is in pounds sterling and excludes VAT, which is added at the prevailing rate. Figures on this page are indicative until an order form is signed.
Can we pay by invoice and purchase order?
Yes, and it's the default. Add your PO number when you build an order and we'll quote it on every invoice. Invoices are payable by bank transfer within 30 days. Where card payment is offered, a Shadow pilot deposit can be paid by card instead.
What does “non-safety supervisory layer” mean?
qlaas decides whether a machine may do something, such as dispatch, dock, open a door or charge. It sits above the manufacturer's certified safety controller, never in the e-stop chain, and a safety hold is never blocked. A Receipt proves authorisation, not safety or lawfulness.
Is hardware included?
No. Machines, doors, docks and chargers stay yours or your suppliers'. Prices cover the software, integration work and our time. Chokepoint integration connects the Gate to doors, docks and chargers you already have.
How does qlaas relate to WorldAuth?
WorldAuth provides the authority model qlaas is built on: Mandates, the Gate and Receipts. qlaas is a separate business that builds the gateway, console and adapters, and contracts with you directly. You don't need a separate WorldAuth agreement.
