How to cancel
Use the link on your Stripe receipt, sign in at app.link.com (opens in a new tab), or email hello@qlaas.co.uk from the address you bought with. Any of the three works, and you do not need to give a reason. We confirm by email. Cancelling stops the next charge; your line runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
The 14-day right
If you buy as an individual, outside a trade or business, you can cancel within 14 days of the day you bought, for any reason, and we refund you. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013; it is not a goodwill policy and these pages cannot shorten it.
If the line has already started
A hosted line is set up straight away, so at checkout we ask you to request that we start during the 14 days. If you then cancel inside the 14 days, you pay for the days the line ran, in proportion to the price, and we refund the rest. On a £29 month, cancelling on day 7 refunds about £22.
A Self-host Pro licence key is digital content sent by email the moment you pay. At checkout you consent to that and acknowledge that the 14-day right ends when the key is sent. If you want to keep the right, tell us at hello@qlaas.co.uk before you pay and we will hold the key for 14 days instead.
Business purchases
A purchase in a company's name, with a VAT number, or for use in a trade or profession is a business contract. The 14-day consumer right does not apply to it. The Verified Agent Lane is sold to operators as a business service. Business customers can still cancel at any time for future periods, and the founding and yearly rules below apply to them too.
After 14 days
Monthly. No refund for the month in progress; the line runs to the end of it.
Yearly, including a Founding Line paid yearly. No refund for a change of mind. We do refund the unused part of the year, to the day, if we withdraw a feature you bought, discontinue Qlaas DMI, or break the terms and do not fix it within 14 days of your telling us.
Founding price lock. Cancelling ends the lock. If you come back later you pay the price current at that time.
Not working. If the service is not performed with reasonable care and skill, you are entitled under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to have it put right or to a price reduction. That applies whatever the tables above say.
When we refund
Refunds go back to the card or method you paid with, through Stripe, within 14 days of your telling us. Stripe refunds the tax you paid with the price. If you asked Stripe for the refund directly, Stripe may issue it under its own rules and will tell us.
