How it works
Door, policy, receipt.
The line is published once, checked on every request and recorded every time. Machines are steered off voice onto structured rails; people keep the door.
Step 1: Door.
Your line publishes a signed manifest at
/.well-known/dmi.json: what it can do, what it will not do, and the paths to reach it, ranked structured first. People opendmi.qlaas.co.uk/@youand call from the browser. Agents read the manifest and take the structured path instead of the phone.Step 2: Policy.
Every request meets your Mandate and gets one answer: Allow, Step up or Deny. Inside your limits, an agent can leave a message, request a callback, check free/busy or propose a meeting. Anything consequential steps up to a tap in your app, never inside the agent's conversation.
Step 3: Receipt.
Every decision, human or machine, is signed with the line's Ed25519 key and chained to the one before it. Receipts live with you, export as JSON or CSV, and anyone you hand one to can verify it against your line's public key.
Receipts
A receipt for every decision.
Signed over canonical JSON, chained to the previous one, kept on your line. A receipt proves what was decided and by which rule. It does not prove the meeting happened.

- If you build assistants that contact people, you need a receiving end that is not voicemail. A line answers your agent over MCP or A2A with Allow, Step up or Deny under the owner's policy and hands back a signed receipt. The first 10 operators get the verified lane free for 90 days.

The core is covered by automated tests and a Chromium end-to-end run through the real media path. That is evidence of software, not of a real call: nothing on the Next list is claimed until it passes on real devices and a real carrier.

What is a door?

Your line publishes a signed, machine-legible manifest and an agent card. An agent built on MCP or A2A connects with OAuth consent, then calls a small set of schema-checked skills: leave a message, request a callback, check your free/busy or propose a meeting. Your Mandate decides what is allowed, what steps up to you and what is denied.
Is my phone number involved?
Not yet. Lines are browser and app based today. A real number, a WhatsApp business line and a Telegram bot are the next milestone. The code exists and is tested against loopback carriers and documented mocks; we will not call any of it live until it passes real-device testing. Founding members get each one when it does, at no extra cost.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time for future periods, from the link on your Stripe receipt or by email. If you buy as a consumer you also have a 14-day right to cancel; your hosted line starts at once at your request, so if you cancel inside the 14 days you pay only for the days it ran. What does locked for life mean?
Your founding price stays the same for as long as you keep the subscription, for the life of the product. The offer covers the first 100 lines. If Qlaas DMI were ever discontinued we would refund any unused period.
Do prices include VAT?
Prices are in pounds sterling. Stripe is the merchant of record and adds VAT or sales tax at checkout for your country, so the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Where do my receipts live?
On your line. A hosted line keeps its receipt store on the host you pay for; a self-hosted line keeps it on your server. qlaas does not hold a central copy. Export them at any time, and a receipt you hand to a third party verifies against your line's public key.
What can the screening assistant see?
A caller's stated reason and what they say to the front desk. Every screened call starts by telling the caller an automated assistant is taking it. The default screening uses rules only and runs on the line. If you turn on the Claude screening brain, that text is sent to Anthropic to be processed; it is not used otherwise, and you can turn it off. Qlaas DMI privacy
How does Qlaas DMI relate to Site Authority?
They are the same primitives in two directions. Site Authority lets an owner authorise and audit machines on a site. Qlaas DMI lets a person or business be read, reached and receipted by machines. Both use WorldAuth Mandates, Allow, Step up or Deny, and signed Receipts. Site Authority
